The Field Safety Hand is responsible for the field implementation of the safety program at Cyclone. All employees will receive an orientation to the safety regulations and policies upon initial employment and are encouraged to bring to the attention of their supervisors any unsafe conditions or practices. Supervisors will communicate these concerns to the Field Safety Hand who will then pass them on to the Safety Superintendent. The following are some specific responsibilities of the Field Safety Hand:
2 weeks on 1 off working in North Dakota.

Daily Per Diem for Food

The Field Safety Hand is responsible for the field implementation of the safety program at Cyclone. All employees will receive an orientation to the safety regulations and policies upon initial employment and are encouraged to bring to the attention of their supervisors any unsafe conditions or practices. Supervisors will communicate these concerns to the Field Safety Hand who will then pass them on to the Safety Superintendent. The following are some specific responsibilities of the Field Safety Hand:
- Ensure Cyclone’s safety program is being followed in the field
- Assist in ensuring accurate safety records are kept at the field level by each rig
- Assist Supervisors with accident investigations
- Identify unsafe condition and practices and ensure they are eliminated from the field operations
- Conduct Rig Inspections to ensure full compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Administer Drug and Alcohol Testing
- Maintain DOT drug testing certification
- Stay up to date with their Safeland USA instructors status
- Summarize safety document counts monthly
- Conduct equipment certifications as necessary
- Coordinate with their relief to ensure proper coverage is maintained
- Interact with all field personnel in a friendly and inviting manner

Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years experience in an Oil and Gas industry Safety Position
- Effective written and verbal communication
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to travel and work on a flexible schedule.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- 5+ years experience as in the Safety Field
- Safeland USA training
- Strong work history of maintaining job with the same employer
- Any Certificates relating to the position.
